There are lots of excellent locations, like Delta to hunt moose. Also in areas off the Tanana and Yukon River, but be sure you are hunting in legal areas and not Native lands. The father away you get from roads and crowds the better. And the more time you have to spend in an area the better.

Breaking the rules as stated in the hunting regulations is a very serious offense, so it is really worth it to do your homework.
And remember just becuase it looks like free open space, does not mean you can hunt there. We have problems every year with uneducated disrespectful hunters coming on our property (despite signs) they just assume no one could live that far from town, they are wrong and they are trespassing. it is the hunters responsibility to check and make sure it is legal to hunt in the area they are going to.
