How old do you have to get a hunting license in California? What if you wanted to hunt with a gun? ?
I know that possessing a gun has to be 21, but is it like that if you get a hunting license?
A hunting license does nothing to change the laws of the State buying a hand gun. The other poster gave you the link to the website of the DFG. That is all there rules and regulations. If you want to hunt with a gun, while you're with an adult, you can. There is some knowledge of other trick to get a firearm in California. If you are over 18 years old, you can have a family member give one legally. Watch the California Department of Justice to transfer form of firearms violence. Or something like that. You must buy the weapon, and fill the form. Then go to a gun store and make a transfer between individuals.
