Colorado Hunting
Hunting near colorado springs?
I will be moving to colorado springs next year and I am curious about hunting there. I have hunted white tail deer and hogs in texas, but that’s all I know because I have never hunted outside of texas or any other kind of deer. So my questions are as follows:
1) How is the white tail deer population in colorado?
2) Is Elk hunting popular in colorado?( I would be interested in it)
3) Is hunting in private or public lands?

white tail not so much but there is world class mule deer
you can not live in Colorado and not hunt elk
Seriously people come from all over the world to hunt our elk.
Colorado has some of the best public hunting anywhere around. Also has some of the biggest public hunting lands around. but private land hunting is popular too.
