Connecticut Hunting Areas

Looking a broadhead design for Connecticut deer.?

I have 15 acres to hunt that borders about 500 wooded acres, most of my encounters with deer or turkeys runs 10 yards or less. I was looking for a broadhead that impacts the greatest area on a deer, Is there a design where I can put two broadheads on one shaft (I know that will not be acurate at 40 yards but a 8 to 10 yard shot just might be), what it is that I don’t want to have to go thru someones subdivision yard to trail a lung shot deer again….

To be honest with you, broadhead size means nothing when compared to shot placement. If your only shooting from 10 yards, putting an arrow where right where you want should be pretty easy with practice. Ive watched a mature bull elk go down in 3 strides from a perfectly place arrow with only a 100 grain broadhead. If your still looking for bigger broadhead, Muzzy makes a strong 4 blade. For turkey, try the gobbler giullitine. Mechanical heads can also have a huge cutting diameter. Good luck and Clean shots.
