Hunting By State

What is the difference between nomads and hunter-gatherers?
If the definition of nomads is "a member of a people or a tribe that has no permanent residence, but moves around from place to place according to the state of pasturage or food supply and a collector is " a member of a group of people who subsist by hunting, fishing or feeding in the wild "should not be considered synonymous with?
A nomad is a group of people or person who moves from one place to another and usually not home long learning. A collector is simply a person who (or, because you used the version plural, more than one person) who wanders in search of something. Many times, usually substitute "something" with food. This does not mean that the person no / not have a permanent home, only they're looking for something. FYI: Forager has many definitions, but that is what I am using for your response. Hope I helped! Edit: Also, I forgot to mention, since it used that definition, I suppose it could be considered synonymous. However, to know all the definitions of two words, someone like semantics (someone who studies the meaning of words) would not agree with you.
