Where the red fern grows poem!
By Paige
I’m a boy you see
Who want s dog to hunt with me,
But my parents don’t have any money,
So puppyless I’ll have to be,
Down here in Cherokee country,
I found a old newspaper one day,
Saw to puppies for sale a though hey,
If I earn some money a could certainly pay,
But I would have to go a long way,
I bought my puppies from a man
I named them old Dan
And little Ann,
I’ll take care of them a best as I can
Down here in Cherokee country,
Hunting was a art,
When they smelled raccoons they always barked
We were never apart
And they will ALWAYS be In my heart!
Thanks and it is meant to rhyme that much that is what the teacher said. Thank you!
hah good book.
