Hunting in New Mexico???
Where’s a good place to go elk hunting in New Mexico? I’m looking for somewhere in AREA 50. Anyone know??? thanks
There are a lot of places, Sacremento Mountains (Lincoln County) is my fav, but as has been said up by Chama and even over in Catron county.
Problem is, do you have an elk permit? If you don’t have one for this year, you are too late, unless you have some friends in Santa Fe, where I hear everything is for sale, or you are NDN.
There’s elk in Game Management Area 50. ots of BLM land up there, but you still need that tag.
