Hunting Online Videos

Should I include unpublished and not peer reviewed work on my portfolio for job search?
I am looking for new employment after graduation college and would like to build an online portfolio that potential employers can view to see my work. Most of the work that I would include not published. Is it unprofessional to show such work online and would be wise to show unpublished works that could be stolen and published by others? I'd rather not use keys or passwords (which adds a layer of friction that employers appreciate I'm not sure). The portfolio will include research, presentations (PowerPoint and posters), photography, and videos I've done. The type of work I'm interested combines qualitative research and multimedia production, so to show my work is quite critical to get into the door (I think).
You can include the job but will not carry as much weight as the published or professional. Do not post it online if you have concerns. You can just as easily put your portfolio on a CD and submit it to the interview (do not submit with application) if they ask for work samples.
