Hunting Property
As deer hunting beginner, you will have to plan to hunt about a year in advance. This will give you plenty of time to find your hunting area, learn something from woodwork, get to know your weapon and learn to hunt deer.
Step 1: Find a Place to Hunt
If already live in the country and have their own piece of hunting land, then this is an easy step for you if landless, the next best is to ally with someone who does.
If you have friends or colleagues agriculture have access to private land, you can probably talk them into allowing you to hunt on his property. It may take some work that challenges access to private lands, but learning to hunt deer is probably easier and more enjoyable on private lands.
If access to land private escapes you, you may still find a good place to hunt for the investigation of public hunting lands. Step 2: Get some good maps
Go to your local outdoor store and get some quadrangle maps topography of the areas you choose to hunt. Buy a compass and learn to use both. Do not go too far into the forest until you feel comfortable to read and use the map and compass.
When you feel ready, GO Scout areas that the game plan. Scout during different seasons, wear blaze orange if in season. Check any sign is the deer, water and food sources, and deer paths note on your map. Scout as often as you can, this will make for front of the crowd when the season rolls around.
Step 3: Decide on a gun
You need to decide whether hunting with a rifle or bow. In any case, you have to visit a shop owner or hunting weapons to be fitted for your gun. Know very well and always follow safety procedures. Do not go in the woods with his gun until you have mastered an adequate level of accuracy, for their sake and that of everything else in the forest.
You may want to buy some camouflage clothing and comfortable boot. I would recommend a model based on orange flames, especially if you hunt public land.
Step 4: Get all your papers in order
Take your hunter education class. Buy your hunting license and tags. Learn the rules and regulations in your area and stay on the right side of the law.
Step 5: Go Hunting
As a beginner, the best strategy for you is to learn to sit quietly and watch. Look in a tree stand or on the floor with his back against a tree. Make sure the wind in your face and can supervise a promising area of its previous exploration.
