Hunting Safety
Hunting deer with multiple hunters is common among hunting clubs, or when a couple of friends gather to bag that trophy Buck. Although this can lead a lot of fun and some great stories, but also could end in tragedy if some basic safety rules are not followed.
The first rule is to use each hunter hunter orange. This is also the law in most states if not all. If the group is on foot, by car or stalk hunting, being able to detect more easily, is crucial. Hunters orange decreases the chances of a hunter mistake one for the game. Deer may be able to detect the hunters a little easier, but it is believed that deer do not see the color as bright as human beings. So do not use the excuse that deer hunters in orange are afraid. Use it to reduce the chance of a horrible accident.
The second rule is to make sure any target before shooting. Never moving brush fire. Always display the game and know exactly what the lens is pointing before. Note that, even when hunting, can be any number of reasons for a hunter companions to leave a foot and head for the truck or elsewhere. Always assume human goal is questionable until proven otherwise.
Last but very importantly, never drink and hunt. Getting together with friends during midday for lunch can lead to the temptation to drink a beer or two. Simply do not allow alcohol to be brought to the game. Even a couple of beers can prevent the trial and increase the chances of an accidental shooting. Alcohol can also lead more falls, while getting in or out of the stands. Save for later alcohol and never drink while hunting.
Staying safe while the hunting deer hunters must each priority. Hunting with friends is usually an exciting and rewarding event. Ensure that all hunters participating in a group understand the safety rules and are willing to implement them so that everyone goes home happy.
