Hunting Season Washington State

Can you hunt squirrels in the state of Washington?
I do some amateur taxidermy to try my hand at it. I want to start with the squirrels, but do not know if a license is required to hunt these animals, which is hunting season, or if it is still legal in all! I have great regard gray squirrel that plague urban areas. Can anyone provide me with some information? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Here is some information in the WDFW website. ********* For legal status, trapping restrictions, and other information about the squirrels change, contact your WDFW Office Regional updates. The western gray squirrel is classified as an endangered species and can not be hunted, trapped or dead (WAC 232-12-007). The red squirrel, Douglas squirrel and northern flying squirrel are protected species and can be trapped or killed only in emergency situations that are damaging crops or domestic animals (RCW 77.36.030). The special permit is required in such situations. The eastern gray squirrel and fox squirrel are Eastern unclassified and may be trapped or killed throughout the year and no permission is needed. In such cases, no special trapping permit is required for the use of live traps. However, permission is required special catch for the use of all traps other than live traps (RCW 77.15.192, 77.15.194, WAC 232-12-142). ********* So basically you can kill and eastern gray squirrels Fox, not other races. These are fairly common in cities, so finding them should not be a problem. The thing with squirrels is that they are so small enough that a pellet gun will kill them, so you do not have to worry about shooting a .22 in the city. Pellets of hollow point are best.
