Slingshot hunting is a sport enjoyed by men and children worldwide. There is a challenge to match the unique harassment primitive weapon in hand, and without emotion, as the dial when all odds are against the athlete.

Most guys get their slings start shooting when the boys, there was the need to find something fun and time consuming. The thrill of the hunt goes on, and get hooked on air guns and slingshots.

Growing up in the Midwest southern U.S., I became involved with slingshots and an early age before television and other sedentary activities overtook me. I love being outdoors, and saw a bunch of shameless "bad birds" like starlings, sparrows and blackbirds all over the place in the cities we live in Slingshot hunting became my hobby.

I bought my first sling, a wham, a magazine ad. It worked quite well. I practiced the use of gravel in the alley, but soon decided build my own house sling. A fork tree branch, some rubber bands and a strip of leather footwear, meeting the right track, and I had my gun superduper. It worked. I went after the plague of birds with a vengeance.

One neighbor had a chicken coop, and hated the English sparrows stolen chicken feed. He paid me a penny each for each sack me. I had become a bounty hunter!

But my brother and set our sights on bigger game too. The fields and woods on the outskirts of the city had Fox squirrels and rabbits. Not only was the game even more of a challenge, but the game was edible, fit for the table dinner. It appeared that the squirrels were too hard, but rabbits we could get. In addition, we also have a lot of doves during the season autumn.
They were small, but tasty.

Dad had rules that govern our deep game. Leave only the songbirds, and anything edible we shot, cleaned and gave mom, who was happy to cook for the family.

Most men today who like to hunt with slingshots began as children. And some still prefer to make their own slings. Some guys like flat bands for propulsion, while others are satisfied with slingshots with tubular bands. Many excellent deep commercial and ammunition are available. Hondas are relatively inexpensive and offer many hours of cheap fun.
