Am I predjudice or do rednecks from the south sound like total idiots?

One thing you might want to consider is how much they have in common with eachother (lack of individuality) like nascar fans, right wing christians, ford pick-up trucks, country music, chewing tabbacco, hunt’n, fish’n, beer drink’n, arcane mannerisms, loud mouths, ignorance and so on… Are there ANY known geniuses from the south? Is Jeff Foxworthy, Forest Gump and Gomer Pyle really good role models? And why are they funny to laugh at?
Yes, I know how you feel I’m from Michigan and I moved to Florida Last year I HATE IT people down here still think the war of north and south is still going on. It pisses me off when they call me a Yankee I mean get over the Yankee thing. All I see down here is pill popping and meth users every where in the town I live in. So Meany people down here are so uneducated I go to college and when I say that they look at me like they cant believe some that lives in town is doing something with their life and everything is backwards here. I mean i haven’t meet anyone that is doing something with their life. Thank god I’m moving in two days and getting around maybe some normal people. So i know how you feel.
