Kansas Hunting Regulations
Do you need any stamps or tags to hunt quail or pheasant in Kansas?
I’ve briefly looked over the kansas hunting regulations book, and didn’t see anywhere that you need to buy any stamps or tags to hunt pheasant. I just want to know from experienced hunters whether i am overlooking something, and wheter all you need to hunt these birds is a hunters license and a hunter’s safety card (as far as paperwork is concerned).
all answers are appreciated……
and while i am on the subject, do you only need a hunters license, hunters safety card, and a HIP stamp ($2.50) to hunt dove when it’s in season?
Thanks.
You have it right. Never heard of tags for birds, but stamps apply to migratory birds, which does not apply to pheasant or quail. These stamps are just a way for Uncle Sam to take some more money from you. Good luck.
