Moon Hunting

As a child, I was always fascinated by the sky and what was in outer space. I never dreamed of becoming an astronaut, but I liked the idea of flying and exploring outer space. Now that I'm older, I'm still fascinated with outer space and our solar system and I still wonder when will I be able to fly to the moon.
As a graduate student in Criminal Justice at the University of Phoenix, was assigned to an investigation. A survey that I thought might lead months for me to do. I was researching Iowa € ™ s Apollo 17 Goodwill Moon Rock which was given to the State in 1973 or 1974. Many of the moon rocks Goodwill missing: What happened with the moon rocks Goodwill? Where can € ™ s Iowa Goodwill Moon Rock to be? Good, thata € ™ s something I had to find out.
The first manned mission to the moon was Apollo 11 in 1969. The first men on the moon were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, its primary mission of Apollo 11 was â € œperform a manned lunar landing and return.â € The mission was a success and were the first to return samples from another planetary body. 47.84 pounds returned moon rocks. When Apollo 17 returned to earth, he brought a grand total of 309 kilos of rock and soil. President Nixon gave Apollo 11 and Apollo 17 moon rocks Goodwill 50 states, Puerto Rico, and 135 other nations. President Nixon € ™ s plan Goodwill Moon Rocka € ™ s called for each rock to be placed on a plate. Each plate contained a plaque in honor of the gift, a ball of rock and Lucite with a flag of the country, state or territory that receives the gift. When I began my search for Iowa € ™ s goodwill Moon rock, had a brainstorm that I would contact, for example, the governor and museums. First, investigate all the museums in Iowa, and then I wrote an email to the governor of Iowa, Mr. Chet Culver. I hesitated for a response from the governor, and I was anxious thinking I was going to be stuck with emails end, wanted to succeed in my research. A few days went by and I received a email Molly Clause, the Governor ™ € s receptionist. Then I was redirected to Bill Johnson, the curator of the Historical Museum of Iowa Mr. Johnson had great news for me, confirmed that the State of Iowa had two samples of moon rocks, representing the Apollo 11 and Apollo 17.
November was The 40th anniversary of Apollo 12, the second manned mission to the moon. Apollo 12 was launched on 14 November 1969 and returned to Earth on 24 November 1969. Richard Joseph Gutheinz, Professor, University of Phoenix who gave this task to my class, is a former agent NASAA special € ™ s Office of Inspector General. As Special Agent was covered in Operation Lunar Eclipse in 1998 to regain the goodwill of Honduras Moon Rock. It has been assigned to graduate students at the University of Phoenix, like me, the task of hunting Goodwill Moon Rocks around the world. He had been offered 5 million dollars when the rock was recovered from Honduras Goodwill Moon.
