Ny Hunting License Class
laws on hunting in NY state?
im getting a hunting safty course class this july so i can purchase a deer hunting license. Im only 15 and i know i need an adult to go hunting with at the age that i am ……..my question is does the adult that is taking me hunting need a hunting license even though he is not going to be the one hunting…………………..( I live in orange county NY)

I do not think the person taking you hunting needs a license as long as that person is not hunting or assisting in the hunt. See the below page:
