Canadian buying firearms in the USA?
If a licensed hunter in Ontraio travels to the USA ( NYC ) for vacation. Can I purchase gun(s) for hunting to return to Canada with being a licenced person in Canada or is there some waiting period/ laws for Canadians to buy firearms in the USA. Keeping in mind, licensed here in Ontario Canada.
As of February 2003, unless you are a US resident, you can’t purchase in US and bring a firearm to Canada. The only way is to import it into Canada from US Federal Firearms Licenced (FFL) gun dealer.
