A question often posed by people trying to enter the blogging scene is whether or not to appeal to the masses, or to a select group of people who may be seeking of their material. Quite often however, this is an important issue for game developers to consider in the early stages of their development. Ultimately there many, many advantages and disadvantages of both approaches to game development. Neither solution is that all end all solutions, but each offers different options based on the middle of the development studio working on the project. A team that has limited funds and resources more often than not better to appeal to a niche of masses.
