My father talked about a Texas newspaper or magazine that has information on the status of hunting and fishing in it. We have one here in Wisconsin called Wisconsin news outdoors "is a biweekly newspaper that has information about upcoming seasons, changes in laws and regulations, hunting and fishing tips, classified ads, photo player game and general hunting and fishing stories. What is the name of the one in Texas? I'd like to get it for him since he lives there now. Thanks not what I was looking for. I am looking for a similar publication to life outdoors, but only for Texas.
There are at least 7 independent magazines only on Texas outdoors and wildlife. The most common is the Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine, Texas Trophy Hunters Magazine, Texas and outdoor are the 3 most important. There are several areas of the state that have local newsletters and magazines. Visit the TPWD website subscription the magazine. You can also do a websearch for magazine subscriptions and add + Texas hunting, you will find some interesting results.
