Treasure Hunting Free Games
What is a free downloadable simulation or video game based in a city?
I’m looking for some software for my language students to use in their upcoming lesson about following directions. I would use Google maps street view (which is nearly perfect), but the school doesn’t have enough bandwidth so I probably need something that I can install on the machines. I’m hoping to give students directions to different buildings: e.g, “Start at the hospital. Go straight two blocks and turn right. Then go two more blocks and make a left. You’ll see it on your right. What is it?” (It’s a supermarket, etc.) What would be even better is to be able to make some sort of treasure hunt with minimal effort, giving the students directions to each item they should find.
