What breed of hunting dog or hunting dog would be best for the midwestern United States fighter?

will be out and have enough room to run, but also must be disciplined. puppies are fine if you explain how to raise them in a good hunting dog. I do not believe in hiring trainers.

It completely depends on what type of game you are doing, and what you want your dog to do for you .. waterfowl, mountain birds, rabbits, boars, etc, etc. Do you want your dog to point, retriever, color, captions, etc CE. For waterfowl, you would like a water dog / retriever, a golden retriever curly coated, Labrador, Chesapeake, Nova Scotia duck toller, golden retriever, etc. mountain birds, which depends on what you want your dog to do. Point / ras a race pointer (German Wirehaired / Visla of short hair, Weimeraner, pudelpointer, etc, etc.) If you want the dog to recover, then get a dog. Labs are retrievers most versatile land and water. Chesapeake and water dominate curly coats, like goldens. But goldens coats tend to be quite difficult on earth if you hunting in thick brush. If you're doing work with rabbits, foxes, etc., then a dog, like a hound, beagle, bloodhound, etc etc would be the best. Either that is the breed you decide, make sure you go to a good breeder. You want the parents have degrees feild showing that they are good workers. Although a breeder can say "I do take my dog to hunt with me and he is great!" not prove anything, only titles such as FC (Field Champion) demonstrates. As to hiring a coach, depending on if you ever have a dog trained to hunt before, and depending on how well you want your hunting dog, which is the best option. Be sure to do tons and tons of research, even small errors can make a mess when it comes to training. You must be able reading your dog well and not rush the training, you need tons of time and patience. And proper education of the young is a must. But all-breed, training and education depends entirely on what kind of game you're looking to do, and how serious you want your dog is doing their job. I suggest getting a good couple of books and reading much as possible. If you need help deciding which books to read, ask and I'll send you some links. Also find a hunting club to get involved with-most clubs have their own tests for hunting and training days you can attend. People are very useful, and is a very good situation to put your dog in
